DKR Consulting was started in 1998 as an Employee Benefits Consulting firm, to small and medium-sized firms and to other brokers. We have expanded to provide consulting and brokerage for Individual Insurance, including Sole Proprietors, and the design and implementation of group 401(k) plans.
Medicare Supplements ("Medigap" Plans) & Prescription Drug Plans for Seniors are now offered; particularly through United HealthCare, Aetna, and other major insurance carriers approved by CMS.
We are prepared to offer guidance & enrollment as broker for all Obamacare/(ACA) Plans, both Group and Individual, in New York State. The Principal of the firm Donald Richardson, is a licensed broker and consultant, and Registered to act on the New York State of Health Exchange, for qualified Obamacare plans. This includes both information, advice, and assistance to enroll directly into such plans.
We offer a full range of pro-active hands-on services for group clients, whether or not we are the broker. These services include custom designed employee announcement letters, employee presentations, enrollment & plan implementation assistance, claims assistance, compliance advice, and help with plan or policy renewals.

PROFILE: DONALD K. RICHARDSON
Employee Benefits Professional with over 40 years of broad-based experience in group insurance and services, as well as individual Life Insurance and Medicare Supplemental and Plan D (Rx) coverages.
Worked for two leading national insurance and managed care companies - Foundation Health Systems and CIGNA (35 years) - in the areas of sales, account management, and product development.
During his career interacted with most major employee benefit consulting and insurance brokerage firms. During his last 5 years with CIGNA, had National Account Management responsibility for a number of accounts which he had originally sold and implemented, among those being Goldman Sachs, MasterCard International, The Henley Group, Booz, Allen & Hamilton, and Hertz Corporation.
Has a strong command of all aspects of managed health healthcare products and plans, including design, marketing, implementation and on-going account management.
For the last 15 years, has been the Principal of DKR Consulting, an independent brokerage and employee benefits company located on Long Island, N.Y., servicing the Greater NY Area for Individual, Sole Proprietor and small and medium-sized group insurance clients.
